Mobile Phone Forensic Analysis

SCIA use state-of-the-art equipment by Cellebrite, the leaders in mobile forensics, and XRY. We are able to analyse mobile phones, SIM and SD memory cards for the private sector, high net-worth individuals and corporate and government clients including law enforcement agencies throughout Australia and South East Asia.

If you have a suspicion that your mobile phone is being used to track your movements or is being used as an eavesdropping listening device or to read your emails and text messages, our forensic examiners can help by checking for spyware or malware that may be installed on your device. Using a mobile phone as a tracking or eavesdropping device is a breach of the Surveillance Devices Act 2007.

The forensic service is performed on site, and depending on the urgency of the matter, we can perform the data recovery service within 1 to 2 days using our express service (additional costs apply) or our same day service (phone dependent). Deleted data recovery may be of benefit for private individuals who have lost baby or holiday photos or a sentimental file such as an SMS sent by a loved one.

Types of data that can be recovered and forensically analysed:

  • Deleted SMS text messages
  • Deleted MMS picture messages
  • Phone book contact entries
  • Call and Web History
  • Email History
  • Spyware and Malware analysis
  • Interception and hacking analysis

Types of clients

Our clients range from law enforcement and government to private individuals. We are able to provide court extraction reports and all data recovered is securely stored.

We are only able to work on a device with the user/owners permission.

For information about recovering data from your mobile phone, call us on 1300 00 SCIA for an obligation free consultation.
